During the first week of June, we have collected ___cases of dengue; _____during the second week and ____on the third week. We therefore advise community action to prevent the said disease. We are urging all barangay officials, public schools and all residents to clean in their area of jurisdiction because we believe that with our concerted efforts dengue can be controlled. In relation to this, may we request the Grade 5 and 6 pupils to help in the clean up drive of the barangay on June 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. to destroy the possible breeding sites of mosquitoes. Hoping for your cooperation on the said activity. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam: Greetings! The alarming incidence of dengue cases among students has prompted our office to advise the community for the prevention of such disease. One of the strategies identified by the Department of Health is to wear suitable clothing to prevent mosquito bite. In connection with this, please advise your students to wear long pants to reduce the risk of having the disease. Thank you.
