After some years, when being a young man, he met his friends Mike Portnoy, Kevin Moore, and John Myung without knowing they were about to form a successful band: Dream Theater. John Petrucci met his friends when attending to Berkley College of Music. Since the single was released, international tours were started as they were famous mostly in Europe despite being an American band. John Petrucci has been in the music career for more than 20 years, so he has had few resting times, but the longest resting time he has ever had was when Dream Theaters drummer departed. His is now touring with the band and a new drummer, Mike Mangini, with plans of releasing more albums.
