To flash the primary DPU: 1. Put the primary DPU mode switch to B and reset it. 2. Put the mode switch to C and use the DPU4FSetup app to read and write the DPU configuration over the network. 3. Reset the primary DPU, put the mode switch to B, and download new software. Change the mode switch to F to complete flashing the primary DPU.

Procedure for Flashing the DPU 1.

On the primary DPU front plate, put the mode switch in B position and reset the DPU. 2. Now keep the mode switch of primary DPU in C position. 3. In 1EWS1 PC, log into engineer mode and open DPU4FSetup Application.

4. Ensure that Mode C DPU is selected and Click on Read Dpu Via Net.

5. After reading is complete, once again select 2VRZBSEQ from the drop-down menu of Station/Pair Name and ensure that Station is a Primary DPU is selected. Click on Write Dpu Via Net

6. After writing is successful, on the primary DPU front plate, put the mode switch in B position and reset the DPU. 7. Then follow the procedure sent earlier to download the DPU software file to the DPU. 8. After downloading is complete, change the mode switch on primary DPU front plate to F. This completes the procedure for re-flashing and re-downloading the software to primary DPU.
