A two-car accident in Maryville, Missouri left two people dead and two others injured. James and Martha Westhaver were killed when their car collided with a city truck that ran a red light. The two passengers in the truck were injured. James Westhaver was the former president of Nodaway Valley Bank where he worked for 33 years. Witnesses said the truck did not appear to stop at the light. The driver of the truck, James West, was ticketed for careless driving. An investigation will determine if involuntary manslaughter charges should be filed.
