INSTALLATION PROCEDURE of Esclators

There are two types of escalator installation procedures. The first involves prefabricating the escalators at the factory and transporting them completely assembled to the installation site. The second involves bringing the escalator parts to the building site and assembling them in logical sequence. Safety devices in escalators include comb plates which stop movement if foreign material is caught, overload relays which activate during power surges or overloading of passengers, and interlocked contacts which activate if the system faults or the chain scratches. Proper design and educating clients on safety is important to ensure passenger safety.
