iModem Installation Guide:

1. Insert the SIM card into the modem. 2. Insert the modem into a USB port (If Windows tries to install the modem, select cancel to abort the Windows installation). 3. Insert the Install CD into the CD-Rom. 4. When the CD is inserted the auto-run will display the following screen. Click Next to continue.

5. Accept the license agreement and click Next.

6. Untick the Create a Dialup Connection and Configure SIM Card checkboxes, then click Next.

7. Click Install to begin the modem installation.

8. Click Continue Anyway when the message box appears.

9. When the installation completed successfully the following message box will appear. Click OK.

10. On the computer desktop, right-click on My Computer, and select Manage.

11. When the Computer Management screen opens, select Device Manager.

12. Expand the Ports (COM & LPT) tree view.

13. You can then view on which port your modem has been installed, for example COM3 in this case.
