Learning Objectives : By the end of lesson pupils will be :able to listen and talk about simple stories. Do now starter activity to engage students 1. Teacher shows a book cover via laptop. 2. Get pupils to talk about the book cover. 3. Teacher draws pupils attention to the topic for today. Connection to previous lesson/prior learning 1. direction Learning Episode 1: (Remember to challenge & motivate and ensure all can be successful) 1. Teacher asks some questions about the book cover. 2. Pupils answer the questions asked by teacher. Learning Episode 2: 1. Teacher introduce the words title, author and illustrator. 2. Pupils get information from the book cover shown. Learning Episode 3: 1. Teacher tell the story of Speedy Spider to pupils. 2. Then teacher asks pupils to talk abuot their favourite stories.
