مسملا ريمسم: نيدباع دمحم:خيراتلا 1/9/2007 Mri Of The Lss Revealed

The MRI revealed a destructive pathological process at the D11/D12 vertebrae with abnormal fluid signal extending from the D11/D12 disc to the D12 end plate. There was also an associated soft tissue component indenting the left side of the spinal cord. The MRI also showed osteoporosis in the lumbar vertebrae, a spongiosus haemangioma of L4, and disc bulges at multiple lumbar levels indenting the spinal theca. The radiologist's opinion was that the findings were consistent with D11/D12 spondylodiscitis and lumbar spondylosis with multiple level disc lesions.

: 1/9/2007 : MRI OF THE LSS REVEALED: Destructive pathological process at D11/D12 level show the following.

g. Patchy marrow signal alteration displays low signal on T1 & heterogenous iso to hypointense signal on T2. Abnormal fluid signal seen with D11/D12 disc & extending to D12 superior end plate. Associated anterior perivertebral & intra spinal epidural soft tissue component . The later seen indenting the left lateral aspect of the dorsal cord. Heterogenous marrow signal of the rest of the lumbar vertebrae likely osteopsotic. Spongiosus haemangioma of L4. Marginal anterior osteophytic lipping of the lumbar vertebral end plate with subchondral degenerative of fatty segment. L2/L3 , L4/L5 , L5/S1 posterior disc bulge more inclined to the left side at L2/L3 level seen indenting the thecal theca anteriorly . Mild right sided pleural effusion for further evaluation. OPINION: MR findings are consistent with D11/D12 spondylo discitis as described . Lumbar spondylosis with multiple level disc lesion.
