A student asked Jon Lozada about his life after being jailed for a scandal, and he replied that while his family suffered, his own life did not change much and he continued living as normal. Another question was about removing Gloria Macapagal Arroyo from her position, but Lozada did not directly answer. In his response, Lozada said citizens should not follow past generations who did not stand up for themselves or defend what is right, comparing Filipinos to a dog repeatedly poked by those in high government positions who took advantage of an inability to fight back.

Jon Lozada talk
Inside the auditorium, there has been several questions about what’s happening in our society. A question was ask by a student to mr. Lozada was about the scandal issue where he was jailed and how was his life after that, mr. Lozada replied that his life didn’t suck at all, instead he continued his way of living, but his family suffered due to that scandal. Another question was about GMA (Gloria Macapagal Arroyo) how can she be pulled down from her position, but the he replied differently. Then he said that we should not follow what our parents did on their time, they just went to other countries, or did not stand up for themselves, and defend what was right. He said something about a dog that was poked by many people, he compared the dog as the citizen of the country and the one who poked the dog was the high positioned by the government and continue to pick on them because they can’t defend themselves.
