Position Title: Reports to: Department: Date Revised: FLSA Status: Summary: This individual performs activities that support the shipment of goods. Packers/labelers work as a team and are expected to contribute and support the team efforts. Primary duties include applying labels to vials and/or bottles, packing orders for shipment, pulling necessary materials, and completing paperwork related to activity. It is expected these activities will be performed in a timely and accurate manner. Overtime will occasionally be required especially at month end. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for labeling and packing vaccines for shipment. Includes applying labels to vials or bottles, placing vials/bottles in appropriate carton, and applying outer box and/or carton label. 2. Completes required paperwork (packaging/labeling records) accurately and efficiently following company-accepted documentation procedures. 3. Trouble-shoots labeling equipment to ensure process runs efficiently. 4. Responsible for accountability of finished goods inventory in the packing area. 5. Participate in cycle and/or year-end inventory counting process. 6. Assist in other areas of the Distribution Center and production areas during periods of staff shortages as time allows. 7. Responsible for keeping work area neat, clean and organized. 8. Any other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be a High School Graduate with 1-2 years packaging and/or labeling experience. Relevant experience in a fastpaced, detail-oriented, team-based environment may be substituted for the packaging and labeling experience. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently verbally and in writing. Must have basic computer skills.
