    Present Worth comparison between a hybrid car and a non-hybrid The following aspects where taken under consideration: Initial cost, assuming both cars where bought cash at the same dealer (Tocars Toyota), using current prices in Puerto Rico. Battery cost Gasoline annual cost based on each car mpg assuming 15,000 miles per year at 0.85 cents per liter

    Not taken under consideration: Operational costs such as: tires, oil changes and other common maintenance. Insurance, as it varies from company, eligibility, etc.
