Sem3 P4 Syllabus

The document outlines the key topics covered in four units of a biochemistry techniques course. Unit I discusses various chromatographic techniques including paper, thin layer, gas, and reversed phase chromatography. Unit II covers ion exchange, gel exclusion, affinity, and HPLC chromatography. Unit III focuses on spectroscopic methods like IR, ESR, NMR, and mass spectrometry. Unit IV examines electrophoretic techniques such as paper, gel, and capillary electrophoresis along with their applications in separating peptides, proteins, and nucleic acids.
