Job Description A System Tester Engineer has a key role in the regular testing of our embedded software, hardware and mechanical components in one power pack. We regularly test our components, and as a super user in this field, you will put your analytical skills and powers of perspective to full use. Your jobs will include participating in the development, maintenance and improvement of our testing tools for software, hardware and mechanical components. In short, you will be a key person when it comes to our testing strategy, giving you important responsibility for the quality of our test results. As a system test engineer your responsibilities will be to: Develop test specifications for low - complex functionalities Perform tests and prepare reports according with the defined test process Collaborate with Project Manager and Quality Assurance in verifying the test results Develop testing software applications, set up test environments Help improving the test process A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization. Job Requirements University Degree in an Electrical Engineering field (Faculty of Automation and Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Mechatronics) Basic usage of instrumentation for measurement and control (oscilloscopes, power supplies) Basic programming experience Knowledge of electronics general overview It's an advantage if you know: Labview, Matlab and if you have knowledge in basic automotive systems and embedded systems English (at least medium level)
