2009 Math EIT Review

This document provides a sample of questions from the EIT (Engineer in Training) exam, covering topics in mathematics, statistics, and engineering. It outlines the structure of the exam, including the number and type of questions in each session. It recommends that students complete two passes of review materials - the first to complete easier problems, and the second to focus on more challenging problems. The document then provides 47 sample exam questions across various STEM topics, with multiple choice answers for each.

In reviewing for the mathematics portion of the exam I found that there were quite a few problems that were straightforward and simple. However, there were problems that were:

More intensive Difcult

I recommend that you make two passes through the material. The rst pass should be used to knock off the straightforward or easy problems and mark problems, which will require more intensive calculations. These problems can then be dealt with in the second pass. If there is any time then the difcult problems can be addressed.
