    Instructor Feedback ED 321 DDP Performance Through this DDP Performance Assessment, you have demonstrated an understanding of discipline

    as a key factor in the teaching/learning process. Your performance successfully meets all criteria. In the preamble, you Clearly lay out the unique and particular discipline challenges inherent in your classroom. Thoughtfully articulate principles guiding your decision-making regarding a discipline plan for your classroom. Make well-reasoned connections between these principles, the particular challenges in your classroom and appropriate strategies to address those challenges. You did not upload a preamble to the work tab. Your answer to self assessment question number one reads like the preamble as it indicates the challenges you face in this classroom. There is sound logic to your thinking but no connection to principles that guide your decision making. In editing your video, you Create an effective visual lens that provides evidence related to the other aspects of the performance preamble, lesson plan, and self assessment. Your video clip demonstrates an instance where a student asked a question at an inappropriate time you redirected his attention by asking him to read instead. It was a quick glimpse but demonstrated how you handled the situation. In your self assessment, you either Make a clear case for how your performance in the lesson demonstrates an effective response to a discipline issue OR Evaluate a less than effective performance, explaining how you could have adjusted your actions to be more effective in dealing with a discipline issue. You articulate decisions made and how you might have adjusted your actions given that you were just getting to know the group of students. You didnt sound harsh but were very matter of fact, which is not a bad thing. I do like that you are considering ways to redirect students while acknowledging their contributions, even if theyre misguided. In all written parts of the performance, you Demonstrate strong and clear writing at Level 4 Meets criteria.
