Some Imp. Question Aec/Edc: ȠV I ȠV I

The document contains 8 questions about electronics concepts: 1) How an emitter follower acts as a level shifter and how amplification occurs in a CE configuration where the current gain is less than 1. 2) Why the CE configuration is emphasized for audio frequency amplification over the CB configuration. 3) Whether the collector resistance is static or dynamic like the emitter and base resistances. 4) The mathematical expression for base spreading resistance. 5) The definition of the constant A in the expression for intrinsic carrier concentration. 6) What temperature compensation is and where it is used. 7) The significance of power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) in operational amplifiers.

Question AEC/EDC
1) How Emitter follower acts as level shifter? 2) We know for CB configuration Ic = Ie + Ico Thus Ic varies linearly with Ie. Then how amplification occurs? Where < 1 3) Why CE configuration is emphasized so much? I think because we deal with Audio freq. amplification more so. If it would be for Radio freq. then we would be using CB configuration. Am I right or ans. Is something different? 4) We know emitter resistance & base resistance are the dynamic resistances & are given by re=VT /Ie & rb=VT /Ib whats about rc ? Is it static or dynamic? 5) We know there is a resistance offered by emitter, collector & base But base resistance is considered comparison to others due to its small area. This z Base spreading resistance. So can u give me the mathematical expression for it? 6) Carrier conc.(ni = AT3 e(-Eg0 /kT) . A= ? 7) Semiconductor with heavy doping is used for Temp. compensation? What is temp. compensation & where is it used? 8) In Op-amp, PSRR= (Vio / V1) or (Vio / V2 ). What is the significance of PSRR?
