What question(s) is your lab group trying to answer? b. Include any preliminary observations or background information about the subject. Hypothesis a. Phrase in the form of a testable if-then statement Materials a. Make a list of ALL items used in the lab, including any necessary equipment. Procedure a. Create a set of directions that explain exactly, step-by-step, how to conduct the lab. (Remember to utilize a passive voice in your writing!) b. Include any safety reminders and/or guidelines Results and Data a. Include all necessary data tables, charts, graphs, observations, pictures, and/or additional notes made throughout the laboratory process. (Reminder: All graphs, tables, and charts should be labeled accordingly.) b. Discuss any possible errors that could have occurred in the collection of the data.
