Test Panel Evaluation - Accelerated Corrosion (ASTM D 1654)

ASTM D 1654 is the standard method for evaluating painted or coated specimens subjected to corrosive environment testing. Panels are rated based on the size, number and distribution of blisters or the number and location of corrosion pits that result from the test exposure. This test method determines the resistance of painted or coated specimens to accelerated corrosion.
