Interactio n Teacher to Student

Stage & Aim Lead In Brief-Talk Just to Remind Students Briefly of Previous Lesson. Teach Stage Familiarize students with wll/wont and their use, and pronunciation.

Procedure Introduction of Myself. Do you remember how many countries there will be in world? I want you to try to fill out the blanks in Part A; think about the readings you just did. Then pass out the guided lesson plans and tell them not to unfold. Monitor as the students do Part A, and see if they are choosing the right answer. (While they are doing that, start writing Subject + on the board) Then read out a question (example the Controllers will) and ask the class Is this future, or present or the fast? Ask CCQs Am I planning for this to happen(wait for answers)or am I predicting? Do the same for a second question. Thats right; we use will and wont for predictions. Now look at Part B, what goes in the blank? (Answer: Prediction/Guess) Now I want you to fill in the blanks of number 3; try to figure out on your own how to form the negative and question forms. Demo the first one on the white boardfilling in base verb/infinitive. While they are working, write the rest on the board; after time is up, go over some which the students had problems with. Go over the pronunciation through Part D; we dont actually say He will go, hell go, and if you look at part 4 its spelled out for you. Drill the pronouns, first as a class, then individuals/pairs, then as a group, and write them on board; do the same for wont.
