Color Coding

Power tools, ladders, vehicles and heavy equipment will be inspected bi-monthly by HSE and maintenance staff and labeled with color-coded stickers if deemed safe. Users and supervisors are responsible for daily inspections and reporting any equipment lacking stickers. Supervisors and users are ultimately responsible for equipment safety.

COLOR CODING

JANUARY FEBRUARY POWER TOOLS, LADDERS ETC. WILL BE INSPECTED BIMONTHLY BY HSE LIGHT VEHICLES AND HEAVY VEHICLES INCLUDING CRANES, TRACTORS ETC. WILL BE INSPECTED BY HSE AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE COLOR CODE STICKERS WILL BE FIXED TO SAFE EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLES USERS AND SUPERVISORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO INSPECT EQUIPMENT DAILY BEFORE USE USERS AND/OR SUPERVISORS WILL IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY HSE OF ALL EQUIPMENT WITHOUT COLOR CODE STICKERS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SAFETY OF EQUIPMENT REMAINS WITH SUPERVISORS AND USERS
