SECTION A GRAPHIC MATERIALS / STIMULI

SET 1 OBJECTIVE 1. 2. 3. To familiarise the students with various types of graphic materials To give students practice on answering the questions. To enable the students to tackle the questions in the examination.

GUIDELINES 1. 2. 3. This section deals with different types of graphic materials. There are 60 signs and symbols. Students are required to know all the signs and symbols and understand what they are used for.

Step-by-step Step 1: Step 2: Skim through the graphics and symbols once. Teacher reads out the description for the signs and symbols. Students fill in the box with the description they feel best suits the graphics. Check the answer with the students once they are done.

Step 3:

Modes of P&P (Teachers can choose which method suits their students level) Listening: 1. Teacher reads out the answers (about 10-15), then students match them with the correct signs/symbols. Reading & Writing: 1. Distribute the pictures, let students fill in their own answers, OR 2. Give the list of answers, let students fill in the correct answers. OR 3. Put a set of pictures on one side, the answers on the other, students match them.
