The United Nations Division for Sustainable Development has appointed a class to help research problems threatening the Amazon rainforest and find solutions. The class will be divided into groups, with each group researching a different aspect of the Amazon such as flora, fauna, deforestation, or indigenous people. Each group will go through three steps: collecting information on their topic, processing the information, and presenting their findings and suggested solutions to the UN Commission for Sustainable Development to help stop destruction of the rainforest habitat.
