CrowdControl:MTV&NYPDhavecoordinatedonmeasurestoensurepublicsafetyandmanage fans/onlookersanticipatedinthevicinity.Therewillbeunrestrictedaccesstopublicsidewalksonstreets closedtovehicletraffic,withasmallrestrictedzoneon6thAvenuebetweenAtlantic&Dean,andDean StreetbetweenFlatbush&6thAvenue. VehicleTraffic:NYPDwillbeinstallinglargeVariableMessageSigns(VMS)onarterialroadsinDowntown Brooklynandsignificantintersectionsincloseproximitytothearenathesewillservetodetourregular trafficanddiscouragetravelthroughthesystem(andresidentialstreets)atthistime. Sanitation:StreetsclosedforeventactivitywillbecleanedupbyMTV. DeanStreetPark:Previouslyscheduledgameswillproceed.Afterwards,partialclosureofthecourt; playgroundwillbeclosed.
ALTERNATEPARKINGWearecontinuingtoacceptparkingrequestsforanyresidentswithavehiclethatliveonDeanStreetorPacific Streetwithintheimpactedarea.Thedeadlinetorequestafreepassforthisreservedlot,locatedonPacificStreet betweenCarltonAvenueandVanderbiltAvenue,isMonday,August19th.
