This study developed and validated a very brief 10-item inventory to assess the Big Five personality domains of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness in English and German. The 10-item Big Five Inventory (BFI-10) demonstrated good validity and reliability in measuring the Big Five factors in about one minute.
