Oracle Database 11g installation in Oracle Linux

Downloded the Database installation file from oracle site File name :- oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm.zip Drop this in Linux server in any place and run the unzip command for unzipping this file.

# unzip oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm.zip After this go to inside of Disk1 and u can clearly see one .rpm file Ex:- oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm 1. Run this instalation by using this below command mention in screenshot #rpm ivh oracle-xe-11.2.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm

2. Inbetween of this istallation it will ask for configuration setting So we have to do this setting see below.

Its done now. Database installed now. For further if u want to stop or start u can follow the same configuration command. In place of configuration we have to put start/stop.
