Validations in PS Question: I Am Trying To Use Validation in The Project. Can Any One Tell When Are The Call Up

The validation rules defined in a project are only triggered automatically if the "Automatic validation" checkbox is selected in the project profile. Otherwise, the validations will only run if manually simulated and not on save. To have the error message display as expected on save, make sure the "Automatic validation" checkbox is checked in the project profile for that project.

Validations in PS Question : I am trying to use validation in the Project.

Can any one tell when are the call up points 110 and 120 trigerred ? I want to validate one of the user defined fields in WBS. Everything is working fine when I simulate the validation. But when I enter a value in the user defined field and save the project then I do not get the error message as expected. Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong ?? Answer : Please see if you have checked the check box for Automatic validation in the relevant project profile.
