ASSIGNMENT 1 ( Speaking and Writing Skills) Give a 12 minute group presentation on any free topic. Choose a topic of interest that you have come across and researched; that has made an impact on your group members. Keep in mind all that have learnt under the topic Presentation Skills. Please include a hard copy of groupeffort put in, which necessarily may not be exactly what you as an individual are going to present- word for word. This is for valuation of group- effort put in and for work load matrix. Maximum word limit 800 words. Due Date : 8 July 2013. To be handed to: Pritam Dhaliwal before the presentation. Instructions 1. You are required to choose an appropriate essay format for the topic chosen. 2. All sources used must be cited using the Harvard Referencing format002E 3. Your essay must adhere to standard documentation requirements: Font : Times New Roman Font Size : 12 Spacing : 1.5 4. Graphics, tables and appendices will not be considered as part of the word count. 5. Please state your word count at the end of your answer. 6. Clarity and flow of presentation and the ability to consider the issues within the constraints of the word limit. Assesment: This assignment contributes 15% of the total course grade. Presentation Content Overall - 5 marks. - 5 marks - 5 marks
