The Florida Department of Health in Broward County is providing free immunizations for school-aged children at the Lauderhill Mall in August in preparation for the start of the new school year on August 19th. Immunizations will be offered on various dates in August from 9am to 3pm and 9am to 7pm on two Thursdays. A community resource fair and free immunizations will also be offered on August 17th from 10am to 2pm. Parents are advised to get required immunizations for their children before school starts and should bring immunization records with them.

THE COUNTDOWN FOR BACK TO SCHOOL IS ON! BROWARD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS START ON AUGUST 19, 2013!

Parents and guardians are advised to prepare now for back to school immunizations.

(Broward County, FL) The Florida Department of Health in Broward County will offer free immunizations for school age children during the month of August inside the Lauderhill Mall, located at 1299E NW 40 Avenue in the City of Lauderhill, FL.

FREE IMMUNIZATIONS will be offered on the following dates and times:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday August 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19 & 20 Thursday 9:00am to 3:00pm

August 8 & 15 - 9:00am to 7:00pm

Community Resource Fair and Free Immunizations:

Saturday

August 17 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Parents and guardians are advised to prepare early and get the required immunizations for their child/children before the school rush.
Florida requires certain vaccines to be administered before children may enroll and attend childcare and school. For more information visit: www.immunizeflorida.com.

In order to be vaccinated, each child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian should remember to bring the childs immunization records.
