Technology Usage
This year we will be accessing technology in new and exciting ways. We will be utilizing technology such as; o Promethean Board o ActivSlate o ActivInspire o DreamBox o FASTTMath We will use these as tools for different intervention programs. We will also utilize word prediction software for final drafts of writing assignments.

Frederick County Public Schools is adopting the Salient 5 which is a collection of five best practices in order to increase rigor and student success. With this in place, you as a parent should expect students to receive regular homework such as reading for a specified number of minutes and practicing math facts to be staples of homework. In addition to this, students may also have additional math or read homework nightly. If you have any questions or concerns regarding homework or upcoming events, investigate the homework and events pages of the teachers websites and/or email for clarification.
