Complete Lab 14 from your Lab Manual beginning on Page 145. YOU WILL NEED TO RE-CLONE & DEPLOY A FRESH COPY OF THE COMP1046 - Week 6 LAB FROM PAGE 2 IN THE LAB MANAGER LIBRARY TO COMPLETE THIS LAB. **The credentials for the student login on NYC-CLa/b are and the Administrator login on RWDC01 are Password02.**

Complete Exercise 14.1, make note of the following;


Question 1: How can you find out which port Windows Firewall opened up on NYCCLb? Answer:

Go to firewall/advanced. Search the rule which we need. And then by double clicking we can able to see the port being used.

Question 2: When using Remote Assistance, why might it be necessary to impose a time limit on the invitation? Answer: By imposing a time limit on invitation it can be open till the time we give.

Complete Exercise 14.3, make note of the following;


Logoff the NYC-CLb computer. Perform this section of the lab using the NYC-CLa computer.

Explain what you think would happen. Answer: Since the IP has been changed there will be a drop in connection.

Question 7: Why do you think the Notepad.exe program open in the RDC window, despite your having configured it in the RDP file? What could you do to try& make that work? Answer: To allow programs to load on remote computers, it is necessary to install the Remote app first.
