The Downtown YMCA is offering American Red Cross lifeguard certification courses and recertification courses in June, July, and August. Lifeguard certification courses are held on weekday evenings and weekends and cost $185 for members and $200 for non-members. Recertification courses last from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon and cost $125 for members and $140 for non-members.
