    Mongolia is a country with a rich history, culture and traditions.

    Its landscapes gives an aura of untouched and undisturbed beauty with breathtaking scenery, making it a popular tourist destination. It's also a great place to experience the essence of the nomadic lifestyle. A place famous for its wildlife and sports like trekking, climbing, rafting, it offers a lot of adventure for tourists. When in Mongolia visit the Gandan Monastery. The standing Buddha statue- the Megjid Janraisag (the Buddha of Future) in this monastery is the tallest statue in Central and East Asia. Also, there is the National Museum of Mongolia founded in 1924 which has many archeological, historical, ethnographic objects. To see the skeletons, fossils and eggs of dinosaurs you may visit the Natural History Museum of Mongolia. The best way to experience the wildlife is to travel over the Khustai Nature Reserve, Korgu National Park, Altai Tavan Bogd National Park and Gorkhi- Tereli National Park. For adventure sports like Rafting, Canoeing, and Kayaking, Kherlen river is the best. Apart from these sports you can also opt for horse trekking alongside the lake Khovsgol. Fishing is also a popular sport here because of its many rivers and lakes. Last but not the least is the famous Gobi Desert. Unlike other deserts this desert is rich in vegetation. In the inland sea you can see the various specimens of dinosaur fossils. With its range of wildlife parks, mountains and canyons, it's a perfect place to enjoy a desert escapade.
