Minimum Setback From Street:: Main Building

The I-2 zone is intended for large, heavy industrial uses that require large lots near major highways. Buildings in the I-2 zone have a minimum 10 foot side setback unless adjoining a residential zone, in which case the setback must equal the residential zone or be at least 10 feet. Developments must maintain a minimum 10% of the lot as open green space and buildings cannot exceed a height of 70 feet or 5 stories.

larger lots to allow for heavy industrial activity
to occur within an industrial complex on a single
site. Because truck volume increases with heavy Main Building
industry, the I-2 zone is normally found near
major highway systems.
