Kindergarten INTRODUCTION Universal Kindergarten began in SY 2012- 2013. Activities, songs, poems and stories and illustrations are based on social cultural, history and reality. This makes the lesson relevant to the learners and easy to understand. Students acquire in- depth knowledge, skills, values and attitude through continuity and consistency across all levels and subjects. Learners are able to learn best through their first language. This year 38 pupils are enrolled. Fortunately, 34 of them have completed requirements to pass the next level.

CONCLUSION/ RECOMMENDATION Based in my observation, children are curious at this age. Showing their interest in letters and be able to say the alphabet song, recognize some letters of the alphabet out of context, particularly in the childs own first name. They should be able to count one or more objects by teaching and manipulating them. So I hereby recommend that children should enroll in Grade 1 class.
