1. Go to http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ 2. Click Download Audacity 2.0.

3. On the dialogue box, click Run

4. On the security warning dialogue box, click Run

5. Select English on the Setup Language dialogue box

6. Complete the Setup Wizard

7. Click Next

8. Click Next

9. Click Next

10. Click Install

11. Click Next

12. Click Finish

13. The program will now open. Maximize the window. To make a recording, click the down-pointing arrow next to the microphone, and select Start Monitoring.

14. Then click the Record button and begin your recording. 15. When youre done, click the Stop button.

16. To save your recording as an MP3 file, select File, then select Export

17. Enter the name of the file, then select MP3 Files from the dropdown box, then click save

18. An Edit Metadata box will appear. Simply click OK

19. Since this is the first to make a recording using Audacity, the Locate Lame dialogue box will appear. Click Download (This is a one-time step, it will not be necessary to repeat this for future recordings)

20. After you click Download, the webpage below will pop up. Click on the Download Page link

21. On the next page that appears, click Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe

22. Click Open

23. Click Run

24. Complete the Setup Wizard, click Next

25. Click Next

26. Click Next

27. Click Install

28. Click Finish

29. Now return to step 16 to save your recording as an MP3 file. Now you can upload to your blog!
