Team problem soving

At the end of the session students should be able to Identify problem areas in health teams Define what a problem is Analyse problems in health teams Identify alternative actions recommend actions to solve problems implement and evaluate actions to solve problems

It is the first stage of the problem solving A problem is identified by the difference between what is actually happening (the actual) in a situation and what one wishes to have occur (the optimal) To determine a problem area, it is necessary to gather, examine and interpret information from all sources available (both primary and secondary data) Decide whether the problem area warrants attention.
