Dear Customer, Thank you for purchasing Figures 2003-2006 Mazda 3s Grille Set. These grilles are fabricated employing quality materials and finishes, and have been engineered to enhance the look of your vehicle for the duration of its life. Proper installation is essential to your overall satisfaction, so please read these instructions before attempting to install the grilles. Exercise patience; these instructions are intended to assist even the most mechanically challenged. Remember, if you are not 100% satisfied with our product, simply return the set to us (or to the retailer if you did not purchase directly through Figure) within 30 days of purchase for a complete refund. Remove the lower side grilles. There are 4 retaining tabs around the perimeter of the grille, as shown in Fig. 3. Push in on the lower side grilles from the front at the four tab locations, and the grilles will pop out towards the rear. 4

Remove Remove the upper grille. Pop your hood and remove the two Phillips head screws on each corner of the upper grille. There are also 4 clips around the lower perimeter of the grille. Press down on these clips and pull the grille away from the vehicle.
pliers to gently bend the tabs outwards. This serves two purposes: 1) it allows easier access to the tabs, which is helpful in preventing scratches from drill contact, and 2) the pliers can be used as a guide for starting the hole, so the drill bit cannot walk off the tab. This technique is shown in Fig. 4. The edge of the hole should touch the retaining lip of the tab.

Remove three screws from the vehicle underbody on each side. In order to install the side grilles, you will need to access behind the grille area. Remove the three screws shown in Fig. 5. Note: More than three screws secure the piece, but it is not necessary to remove them.

Insert the lower side grille into the grille opening. Reach through the bottom of the vehicle, and LOOSELY install nylon ties through each of the drilled tabs and the outermost loop on the grille closest to the tab. Once you are satisfied with alignment, fully tighten the ties. Cut the tie tails with the snips.
