Create File DataSource

Create FlatFile DataSource

Create Application Component

a. In RSA1, Choose Datasource in the left panel b. Use drop down on source system icon and choose your file system c. Right click on top header --> Create Application Component d. Provide the Tech.Name and Description, choose OK (tick) Create Datasouce(Ex: ZSD_DS_SALES DataSource: Sales ) a. Right click on the Application Component --> Create DataSource b. Provide Tech.Name, select the datsource type, choose OK(tick) c. In the Genereal Info TAB, provide the Datasource descriptions d. In the Extraction TAB, Adapter text file from Workstation File Name browse the file Header Rows to be Ignored 1(if data in the file starts from 2 nd row) Data Format CSV Data Seperator - ,

e. In the proposal TAB, No. of Data Records use less number (10) Click on Load example data

f. In the Fields TAB InfoObject Template provide the Tech.Name of the relevant InfoObjects Observe the data type and lengths will get adjusted

g. Activate the DSO h. In the Preview TAB, click Read Preview Data to see Preview
