Java Software Developer Operations Orchestration Team

HP Software (www.hp.com/software) is one of the largest software companies in the world. In ClujNapoca, the HP Software R&D team currently counts more than 140 software engineers (developers, QA, technical support) working on multiple HP Software products like HP Server Automation, HP Live Network, HP Universal CMDB and HP Operations Orchestration. HP Operations Orchestration software gives the unique possibility of automating a wide range of tasks that can be met in all data centers. Starting from simple operations related to operating systems, networks, databases, application servers developed by various vendors, complex and ready-to-use workflows can be assembled, leveraging the quantity of work generally done by humans and thus, reducing costs and improving efficiency. Job Description Deliver enterprise-quality products for HP's winning data center automation software Research, design, build, and test workflows which automate common tasks performed in large data center environments Research new enterprise products to develop new workflows Design, write, and test integration code between OO and 3rd party applications using common software languages and scripting environments (Java, C#, Perl, VBScript, JavaScript) Debug and fix problems found in existing workflows and integrations Investigate new enterprise products and technologies Create technical specifications Work closely with Doc, QA and other team members in delivering a world-class product.

Job Requirements Bachelor or above degree in computer-related fields Proficient in Java development C#, scripting (JavaScript, VBScript, Perl) is a plus A good understanding of popular OS and their APIs relational databases and SQL is a plus Can work with ambiguous requirements, while seeking to gain clarification Raises risk issues in a timely manner, weighs and communicates risk/reward scenarios and outcomes Good command of English.
