Easter Cushions
What do are you making?
A small cushion with a finished size of approx 7 by 7 1/2 inches.
This is a quick and easy
project!
What do you need?
For cushion What do you do? 15 inches by 7 1/2 inches white Trace appliqué shapes onto fusible webbing. 7 1/2 inch square batting Iron onto reverse of chosen appliqué fabrics and cut out shapes. stuffing For appliqué 5 1/2 inch square of main colour Fold white fabric in half. One half will be the cushion front. Iron appliqué shapes onto cushion front - use the picture as a guide. 5 1/2 inch square of contrast colour Fusible webbing Cut a 7 1/2 inch square of fusible webbing. Iron onto batting. Iron batting into place behind cushion front. Illustration: Right sides together. Fold at bottom. Machine stitch around egg and flower. Using stitches to add a stem and Stitch around cushion leaves to the flower. leaving an opening.
Fold cushion in half with right sides together.
Stitch around cushion leaving a space for turning. (see illustration)
Turn cushion through opening. Stuff until firm.

Flower NOTE: This pattern uses reverse appliqué. Use contrast colour The top and bottom egg trims are fused under the three egg pieces.
