The V-Model is a framework for systems engineering and software development that models a development cycle as a sequence of phases which are verified against each other, typically from the top down and from left to right. It depicts the relationships between each phase of the development life cycle from requirements specification to operation and maintenance. Each stage of the development process is mirrored by a corresponding testing stage.
