The Views
Events
The events view is a view simply used to track appointments and tasks as they come forward. You can mark a task or appointment to be tracked at creation time or by using the context menu on existing items. The Events view will then show you the task or appointment and tell you how many more days before it arrives. The Events view is very useful to track birthdays, anniversaries, project milestones, vacations, and anything that you want to be able to get notied quickly of whats coming up. It can track as many items as you wish. It shows you the next 150 days worth of events, though you can customize this in the Customize View menu. To track a new item follow these steps: 1. Make sure the Events View is turned on in the Roles and Features dialog. If the Events view is not enabled, then tracking will not be shown. 2. Create an appointment or task. 3. Change the Tracked eld from No to Yes. 4. Appointments and Tasks created while in the Events View will automatically have the Tracked property set to true.

To track an existing item follow these steps: 1. Make sure the Events View is turned on. 2. Open the Context menu of the item 3. Select Tracked from the menu
