Table Pw-39 (Cont'D) Mandatory Requirements For Postweld Heat Treatment of Pressure Parts and Attachments

The document provides requirements for postweld heat treatment of pressure parts and attachments. It specifies that for Group 07 materials, postweld heat treatment is not required or prohibited up to a weld thickness of 5 inches. It also provides postweld heat treatment temperature and holding time requirements for alloy S31803. Finally, it notes that for material P-No. 10r, postweld heat treatment shall be performed as described in section PW-39.3, with a maximum cooling rate of 100°F/hr above 1,200°F, and then rapid cooling to prevent embrittlement.
