    Introduction
    Narayana Hrudayalya Hospitals is one of Indias largest multi-specialty hospitals chains, headquartered in Bengaluru, India. The Bengaluru cardiac unit of Narayana Hrudayalaya is one of the worlds largest pediatric heart hospitals. It is formed by the re nowned cardiac surgeon Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty. Narayana Hrudayalaya has created a record of performing nearly 15,000 surgeries on patients from 25 foreign countries. The Narayana Hrudayalaya Group, in association with the Indian Space Research Organization, manages the worlds largest telemedicine program and has treated over 53,000 heart patients.

    Dr.Devi Prasad Shetty. A cardiac surgeon of reputation, a successful entrepreneur. Dr. Shetty is accredited with pioneering quality medical care at affordable prices by achieving economies of scale. He was awarded the prestigious Padma Bhushan, third highest civilian award in India for his contribution to the field of affordable healthcare. He was awarded 3 ties the entrepreneur of the year including the Entrepreneur of the year 2012 by ET. His visionary leadership to make quality healthcare accessible for all has drawn global recognition.
