What I Like Efficient/Easy One of the best ways to teach proceduralskills/Adaptable for all types of learners Teacher has

control of the timing of the lesson/What will be learned Students are physically easy to monitor Students are able to demonstrate new skills and apply new knowledge without obtaining help from anyone else/Independent Learners

What I Dislike May not engage students and therefore information is less likely to be attained Students more likely to engage in behavioral problems if bored Not all students are capable of learning this way Teacher may not feel comfortable for speaking longperiods of time/ Teacher may not uphold the students attention

How can I utilize this model? Introducing new skills/strategies. For example, in Science, I would use this model when teaching my students strategies for studying their terms and in Math, I would use this model to teach my students the prerequisite skills for long-division.
