Webquests: English Emphasis UPN April 2013

A WebQuest is an inquiry-based activity where students interact with and learn from online resources to research a topic. It follows a specific structure including an introduction, task, process, resources, evaluation, and conclusion. WebQuests can be short-term lessons lasting 1-3 days to acquire knowledge or long-term projects spanning a week to a month where students extend and deepen their understanding of a topic. They are grounded in constructivist learning theory and aim to promote critical thinking, collaboration, and meaningful learning through student-directed research.
