The driver is only installed in the Starley Computer Lab. Right now this will only work in the Starley Lab These instructions are based off Prof. Skliars instructions found here and here. Follow the directions below only if you are using the Arduino board in the Starley Lab. You do not need to download anything, all the files you need are located on the Class drive: N:\Arduino Plug the Ruggeduino board into the computers USB port. A green light should light up. From the Start button type devmgmt.msc a prompt will appear asking for your password. Type in your password

Open arduino.exe It is located N:\Arduino\arduino-1.0.1\arduino.exe From the Arduino interface, open Tools > Serial Port Set it to the COM port that your device is installed on.

From the Arduino interface select File > Open adiosrv.pde It is located N:\Arduino\ArduinoIO\pde\adiosrv \adiosrv.pde Once loaded select File > Upload from the window that opens up. It will compile, mine looks like this when it is done.

You have to use a special build of MATLAB that is installed on the class drive. Launch it here: N:\Arduino \MATLAB\MATLAB R2012a.exe Run tester.m with your COM port as the variable

If it works you should get a screen that looks like this
