Tokio Hotel - "Don't Jump"

Tokio Hotel is a German Pop Band that was the first German band to win a MTV VMA award for their Scream Album. Originally written as Spring Nich in German, the song was rerecorded in English. It written to encourage teenagers to seek other solutions to their problems, instead of suicide. Link

Coldplay Fix You


A song on Coldplays third album X&Y, released in 2005 The lyrics of Fix You, sang by Chris Martin, express words of encouragement. Its instrumentation is varied with the sound of church-style organs hovering throughout the background piano notes, acoustic and electric guitar riffs, drums, and a sing-a-long chorus. It was originally recorded on an old keyboard that Martins late father-inlaw, Bruce Paltrow, gave to his daughter Gwyneth.

Michael Jackson Beat It

Released on Jacksons 1983 Thriller Album The lyrics of "Beat It" are about defeat and courage and expresses Jackson's dislike of violence, whilst referring to the childhood abuse he faced from his father. The song was promoted with a short film that featured Jackson bringing two gangs together through the power of dance.

Jason Mraz - "The Beauty In Ugly


The song was recorded by Jason Mraz in support of the Be Ugly 07 campaign that was created for the television show Ugly Betty in 2007 . The lyrics speak of beauty as being unique of ones self and that you need to express confidence to the world. The music video shows people at a model audition taking a before and after pictures until they revert back to what they really look like.
