Reader's Theatre

The document discusses reader's theatre, a style of theatre where actors read from a script rather than memorizing lines. It involves actors standing in a line on stage and reading parts from a story aloud, using vocal expression to portray characters. Effective reader's theatre requires choosing simple stories with dialogue, assigning parts, practicing reading fluently with expression, and potentially incorporating minimal costumes, props or background elements to enhance the storytelling. The goal is to imaginatively engage audiences through a controlled, rehearsed reading of a text.
