This course provides the students with the fundamental understanding of probability and statistics. The course focuses on the analysis of data using basic statistical tests. COURSE OBJECTIVES (DESIRABLE OBJECTIVES)
At the end of this course, the student should be able to: 1. use statistical tools needed to make evaluations of experimental data 2. apply elementary rules of probability in handling probability distributions and sampling distributions 3. obtain point and interval estimates for means and proportions 4. test hypotheses involving means and proportions 5. draw conclusions based on the results of statistical tests 1.
